Ah, one of those lemme go back and told ya so kinda guys. We will have to see what happens when 4nette returns. They make the offense about 4nette, anytime you center around a RB it's regression for this day and age. It just doesn't really work. It's what this team, Dallas, and NYG is doing. Screens and dumps has been the norm. I loved the gameplan yesterday, which is centered around the QB. Making him comfortable and confident. Someone else in a post in a different thread commented how this team runs more power I, which is to benefit 4nette and make the game about him, rather than shotgun formation for Blake like we saw yesterday. The gameplan from yesterday needs to be used going forward and force 4nette to adjust. The key moving forward is consistency. We saw Blake do this last season for stretches then fall off. IMO it's incredibly important for Hackett to continue to make the gameplan centered around Blake. There was nothing about run game only with some screens and dumps to limit Blake's turnovers.... it was high octane we are coming. CAN that continue with Fournette? That is TBD. I hope so!
