There was nothing about run game only with some screens and dumps to limit Blake's turnovers.... it was high octane we are coming. CAN that continue with Fournette? That is TBD. I hope so!

They game plan according to their opponent and their opponents’ anticipated defensive scheme deployment. It’s not really centering around Blake or Fournette. It’s about taking advantage of a defense’s weakness. Yesterday the pats sold out to stop the run so the weakness became their #2 CB. That meant letting Blake throw outside the hash more. And it worked against that particular secondary. Some weeks it’ll be 8 screen passes mixed in, and that still won’t be their identity.

Yesterday’s approach was also an indication that this staff will learn from their mistakes - and that should make you feel more optimistic about some of your hopes for the offense.
