They wouldn't have made him our back-up if they didn't think it's possible. You're only as good as your next man. He's a play action QB who doesn't turn the ball over much. With this defense it's all you need.
I do have a problem with anyone saying Kessler isn't better than Bortles. Based on what? His stint with a garbage Cleveland team? How can you properly evaluate him? I'm not saying he is better than Blake but be real here. You can't say he's not either.
