I don't think this is the competitive advantage that the league/owners would be most worried about.  Unless they decide to do two games the previous week and have another team do a home and away in London, we'd (theoretically) have a big advantage being acclimated to the time change and jet lag over a team that arrives that week.  I don't think the Eagles would be too thrilled if we had a London game prior to hosting them this season.
