Mayor of London "couple teams interested"

I think one of those pre-season games would have to go to London in that scenario, but which city do you award the playoff games to though? And which city's name is attached to the franchise in such an "equitable" split. It makes very little real world sense to do such a thing.

Regarding the Jags playing 1 home game and 1 away game in London, I'm not sure the league would be for that as far as a competitive advantage for the Jags is concerned. I haven't been to a London game yet (maybe one day), but I'm under the assumption that the majority of fans at the game are rooting for the Jags. Someone that's been correct me if I'm wrong. If the Jags were the away team there for another game during the season, wouldn't most of those same fans show up and make it a de facto 9th home game for the Jags? Not sure the league would approve that.

I think the best thing to allow the league to expand fanbases in other continents is to do either 8 games in London with 8 different teams being the home team and sell season tickets to those interested enough in seeing so many different teams play live or to play 4 games in London, 4 in Mexico City, 4 in Tokyo and 4 in one other international location like Berlin. Of course they'd probably have to build up to 4 games over time in each of those cities other than London.

I'm not sure how you add an expansion team or 2 overseas or anywhere without making the schedule a mess. Right now the schedule is pretty straight forward with 32 teams, 2 conferences and 8 divisions and 16 games per team. It just works really well the way it's currently set up.

Fans in London already are fans of a NFL team. You will we jerseys for every team there. People are going to a NFL game, not a Jaguars game. With most of the fans being neutral, except for all of the fans from the US making the trip, they may be cheering for the Jags by now. They don't know how to make noise at the right time though so it's whenever exciting things happen.

Right now people go because there is a limited supply. If you add games, then people might start being picky about which game they go to. Then you see that London doesn't sell out all the time and the novelty wears off. They need to expand and add 1 game in London for every team and they can rotate home teams each year.

Then when that fails like NFL Europe did, they can forget about this stupid dream of trying to make more money. Be happy with all the billions you already have.

If Khan does this though, I'm done. I would want to ruin all his business interests in Florida, close the port access to his companies, etc but that would hurt people by costing them their jobs so couldn't do that. Unfortunately there is nothing Jacksonville can do to stop it if the NFL or Khan wants it.
