Marrone talked quite a bit about communication issues during today press conference.
Mentioned it being a problem not only on defense but also on offense and special teams.
He also mentioned that it might not be all on what happened on the field on Sunday but also during week of preparation with the amount of stuff and info they are giving to the players (that's your key, that's your read, but if they do this then do that, if they do another thing than do another thing) that might be slowing them down a little, they are looking into this.
Mentioned guys wanting to do a bit more at times and going out of position because of that. He also said this about the offense where a couple of times a player has been trying to give more help to a certain player while help was needed the other way (OL protection I think).

While I think Poz's presence can be missed a bit I don't think that's the issue, there were communication issues that led to coverage breakdowns last season too, I think it's a wider problem that goes back to the way they are preparing and teams exploiting more the weaknesses that have been exposed at times.

Oh and about the TD play where we rushed only Yannick and Fowler with the 2 DTs going back in coverage he said it was a mistake by one of the tackles.

To me it looked like he dismissed a bit the question about a lot of zone coverage since he said they have been playing the same amount of zone and man..
