The issues lies with Wash and wash alone. I think we are at the point where he's gonna really need to show he can adapt the defense mid game , I'm not so sure we have too many examples of him successfully doing that.

Not getting rid of Wash has proven to be the biggest mistake this team has made in the past 2 years. If we had Baltimore's defensive coordinator we'd be first in all categories on defense.

I don't think you can reasonably argue that having Wash as DC last year was a "mistake". Bar a handful of games he wasn't bad at all (yes we are Uber talented but you can only judge based on what we saw).   

The defense hasn't been as good this year and that is mostly on Wash imo. I'm willing to give him a chance and see what he does after the cowboys smack down because we haven't really had a big reason to change everything prior to this game.  

If he doesn't adapt this time then I'd be pretty confident in saying he never will.
