This team was built to win with defense.  It spends big money on defense.  With the amount of talent they have this defense should be great.  It's not.  It's merely good.  So stop acting like it's all on the qb when the OL is broken and defective and we have no effective power running game and our receivers often have hands of stone.  

Blake isn't Ryan or Goff or Cousins or even Smith.  We knew he wasn't going to be and now that all the injuries have happened, he can't be expected to become something he's not.  He can get better at not turning the ball over.  If he does that, he's done his part.  Then it will up to Hyde to help out the run game and the defense to return to their previous level of play.  If those things happen, we can still win the division.

no defense shuts teams out every week.. our trash QB fumbled on our own 30.. the D held to a FG.. then the offense 3 and outed again, and the defense gave up a FG... a defense that gives up 3 points is a good defense.. then the offense went out and go no points again.. then shortly after this, our MORON coach doesnt go for a 4th and 2 inches when you could sense the game slipping and we have a QB who almost never gets stopped on a qb sneak in short yardage situations, then our punter punts it like 15 yards near the 40 or 45, and the tired D finally gives up a TD

has the D been up to par? no.. have they been a problem? LOL no.. THE problem is the QB, coaches, GM and injuries
