Didn't expect to see him taking the field, but Bortles was awful on Sunday and deserved to sit down.

Kessler didn't exactly impress us with his wicked QB skills on Sunday.  The guy has a pop gun for an arm.  He's more accurate, but giving teams an opportunity to game plan against him, he'd be completely negated.  For better or for worse, we're stuck with Bortles for the time being.  Hopefully he finds a way to get back to the good 2017 Blake.

With all of the injuries this team has sustained, particularly on the offensive line and with the running game, no QB is going to be terribly effective for this team right now. It's up to the OC to figure out a way to give Bortles adequate protection to do his job. They need to reestablish some semblance of a rushing attack, which I think they'll probably find with Hyde on the roster now.
