Belichick once benched welker for part of a playoff game after making a crude joke to the media. It sounds authoritarian and probably is but it evokes discipline. 
I don’t think the players are horrible. 

I just wonder again what kind of circumstances led the players to think it was no big deal. It just shows a cavalier attitude towards the team and the game that’s all. With a game with major implications for the season upcoming, a player “arrest” no matter how dumb, is a distraction for the team. That’s what my point is really. A distraction or distractions is the last thing the locker room needs

All teams have a well documented history of arrests.  NE and philly (under reid) have been better than most about it. But these things happen and what happened in London was really, really tame compared to much of the stuff you see listed under various teams arrest histories. 

Should the Jags have a little come-to-Jesus talk with their players about tightening up the reins on this crap?  Yes. Absolutely. But I don't think it means there's a major discipline problem with this team under the current regime. I really don't see that at all.
