In all fairness, that was a terrible year to draft a QB. The top guys were Bortles, Manziel, Bridgewater and Carr. One is out of the league, one is a lifetime backup and I remember people on the board cringing when Carr was mentioned, because his brother was a failure. He's not that much better than what we have. I don't know if anyone in this draft class will pan out, but since the team ignored what I and others here wanted to do and draft a QB from the 2018 class, we're now put into a position where we have to find a way to replace Bortles sooner, rather than later.

Early on it looked like Carr was legit and maybe he still is.
But yeah... looking back... that was a terrible year to draft a QB.
Although, the next draft isn't looking so much better. Ms. Mary and Jameis both have just as many questions about their game and ability as we have (bet neither gets extended like Blake did though)

Truth is.... with QB... you just gotta keep going back until you land one. 1st round... 3rd round... you should probably select one every draft in some round or another unless you have a for sure, sure-fire, starting/franchise guy.

We absolutely gotta draft a guy this year, even if they are gonna give Blake another shot... there should be a mid round selection for QB. Maybe a 2nd or 3rd...
