Did the players have some drinks at their night out at the club?  Most likely yes.  Does that mean that they got drunk to the point that they are/were hung over the next day?  Don't know.  Either way they are grown men and make their own decisions and suffer the consequences.

For all we know the booze was spent on dancers or "female companions".  It was also reported that the club "sent" the booze to their table or whatever.  It sounds more to me like the club possibly scammed these players more than anything.
Ok...this is you

Drinking? Probably... Assumption
Drunk to hangover? Don't know... assumption
Booze on females? Assumption
Club sends booze? Assumption
Club scam? Assumption

I don't think my assumptions sound so ridiculous now... or do they? Assumption

I can do this all day with you clowns keep being hypocritical.

As far as drinking I said "most likely yes".  I base that off of the age of the guys involved and the fact that they were at a club.  I could be wrong about that but it's likely that they did have some drinks.  Did they drink enough that they were hung over the following day?  I said that I didn't know.

You are the one to make the claim that that they along with half the team "spent Saturday recovering from hangovers" rather than preparing for Sunday's game.

So which is more likely?

As far as booze to females and the club sending booze to the table, it's a very common scam.  I don't know how many clubs you have been to in foreign countries, but it is quite common and I have seen it first hand.  Perhaps research the term "clip joint".

There are 10 kinds of people in this world.  Those who understand binary and those who don't.
