At What Point Is Gus Bradley On The Hot Seat?

Quote:I'm not sure about this point. The roster turnover here from last year to now suggests otherwise.

And, just in general and directed at no one in particular, it seems there's a pretty obvious consensus that Blaine Gabbert and Chad Henne aren't worth their salt and simply shouldn't be starting in the NFL. I find it really difficult to jump on the "Bradley's Seat Should Be Heating Up" Train because of the mind-numbing state the roster was in even before he arrived.

Perhaps idealistic, but I don't think Bradley or Caldwell should have to go down on the Gabbert/Henne ship.

A second point -- to those suggesting the Jaguars MUST tank the season to get Teddy (and, yes, there are some of you), how can you possibly then turn around and say you'd find it hard to keep Bradley for going 0-16?

Some good points but if we are going to be this bad then our roster purge should have been much greater. We have a grand total of 7- 10 players that are keepers. The rest of the roster needs to go.

My dissatisfaction with Bradley has nothing to do with the Gabby/ Henne ship. It has more to do with defending players that are not going to be here next year and the overall pseudo - confidence he tries to paint with. He has nothing to lose this year personally, ball up your iron fist and slam the table. You want a tough team? It starts from the top.

As far as tanking, I support it because I believe Teddy is one of those special QB's that can turn around a franchise and deliver a Super Bowl. Can we please just have a little excitement in the process like the Houston game last year. Even though we lost ,that was my favorite game of the year because we competed and showed some heart. Give us 3-4 plays a game to get excited about and show us something.
