It's been roughly four days since this post was made. And all they did was sign Landry Jones. We play Pittsburgh in about two weeks too.

Bortles is still the QB. They'll excuse his inconsistencies this year and chalk it up to poor play at receiver, no protection in the passing game and no push in the run game and also essentially no Fournette all year.

He's safe for the remainder of this season if he doesn't go completely off the rails. Which I don't think he will. Normally when Marrone yanks his [BLEEP] out of the starting line up it seems to straighten him out a little bit. As it rightfully should.

But there's no help coming this year. They'll probably keep him in 2019 and FINALLY bring in a legitimate competitor to push him for one more year or flat out take his job away.
