I don't think it's irrelevant because it stretches the cap a bit in 2019 and they could use that money to add mid tier free agents for O-line depth and other roster maintenance. 

Regarding 2020 salary cap health and defensive cap clearing:

Church being waived is almost a given as his replacement is already on the roster in Harrison. 

Dareus makes some sense to cut as he's not really having a major impact on the run defense this season so far. Unless he re-structures - it's tough to justify his salary. 

Malik and Campbell are likely staying put unless Campbell has a major drop in performance or Jackson has a career impacting injury. Maybe they ask Campbell to restructure, but I don't think they want to move on from him yet.

Dareus is our best defender against the run along with Campbell.  Jackson and Jones are the guys not holding up in the run along with our LBs taking bad angles along with Church.  You say it's tough to justify his salary bit then you say Jackson will probably stay who makes 5 mil more than Dareus lol.  Jackson has always got pushed around against, with all that said I think Campbell, Jackson, and Dareus all stay 1 more year.
