Last offseason, with Mularkey as the coach, Blaine was supposedly very good in training camp and seemed to have taken the next step in his development.

 

He had some nice games in preseason and then another real good game against Minnesota and had a lot of us believing in him.

 

Gabbert lit it up at the combine with his measurables, his speed, and his interviews.

 

It all points to the same exact point.  THe senior bowl, the combine, etc should be a very small part of your evaluation. 

 

You make your evaluation based on watching him play in real games.  The other stuff just confirms what you believe about the player, or raises some doubts.  It shouldn't make anyone's stock "skyrocket" after 2 days practicing without live action.  It's just ridiculous.

 

Seriously, if anyone changes their opinion drastically about a QB after 2 days of senior bowl practice, he IMO is a complete idiot.
