We went conservative...and we lost

This reminds me a little of the AFC Championship game. In the second half, Marrone didn't trust Bortles to throw the ball...although in that game, Bortles actually played well in the first half. In this game, Bortles played poorly throughout the game, and Doug just didn't trust him on that last possession, deep in our own territory.
You have to wonder how many more chances Bortles is going to get if the coach doesn't have faith in him with the game on the line. |
