We don't.  That's why I made the vague reference to it all being a "Jedi mind trick".

 

Thing is, all the NFL teams will get pretty much the same info between the combine, interviews, and, in particular, the physicals.  We pick 3rd, so we know we'll get a good player.  If the Browns want to jump in front of us because they've fallen in love, I don't really care.

 

Now, if someone else falls in love with a player, and wants to jump in front of the Browns, now we're talking.  I am very interested in what we could get for the #3. As it stands now, I think Manziel will be available for the Browns at #4.  But if they want to drive his stock up, whether by smokescreen or actual desire, I sure don't mind. 

 

I am in favor of anything that drives up the cost of jumping the Browns.
