I don't get it.  They just needed a couple of first downs to win.  

How in the hell they couldn't manufacture a designed QB rollout run option, a quick dump to a TE, or something vaguely creative enough to make the defense have to think, it's just beyond me. 

Very disappointed with the play calling down stretch in the fourth quarter in this one. They just needed to control clock for ~2 more minutes and they couldn't convert.  The penalties in the prior drive were daggers as well.

Agreed.  Not one rollout or designed QB run.....
