There are a lot of options for QB next year in the draft. You either got one or you don't. We don't. We need to get one. If he's trash I'm not against drafting another QB high next year too.
Grier, Haskins, Lock
I'd be OK with any of these 3 in the first round.
(Assuming Herbert is either staying in school or drafted by the Giants)

The point of naming those QB's is to show that your school has literally nothing to do with how you will translate to the NFL. Especially at QB.

ALABAMA QBs don't do well in the NFL.

They haven't ever really had any good players at the position except McElroy (couple years with the Jets iirc) McCarron, and Tua.
Everyone else has been trash, or the whole program was trash for a couple decades..... lol

He's the best QB Bama has ever had (Apologies to Namath)
speaking of which, he did pretty well in the NFL.

Baker I think is the first real successful QB from OU.
Guys come from where ever man. You gotta trust the tools and then hope your coaches know what to do with them.

Tua has everything from arm strength, to mobility, to intelligence, sound mechanics and release.
If the only issue is "He went to Bama" he has no issues.
