Together with Campbell he has probably been the most consistent player on the Dline, whenever he's not in the run defense takes a step back.
Unfortunately Malik hasn't performed as expected this season and he has a much higher cap hit next season compared to Dareus. If they could restructure (doubt they will) great, otherwise it makes more sense to keep Marcell. Cheaper and has shown to be more important on our Dline.
