We need to keep three QBs going into next year.
Kessler, Bortles, and a rookie. Sit the rookie and invest heavily into the offense the next two drafts and then 2020 start the QB you draft and THEN cut Bortles or Kessler.

3 QBs next season? So pay Blake 21 million, pay Kessler his 1 million and then pay the top 10 rookie QB money?! 

The team has already moved on from Blake with a cheap vet. What makes you think they wouldn't do it to start the season? Not to mention the Jags could be looking at a new HC and you can most likely assume they don't want Blake in their QB room.

If I am only netting 5 million by cutting him? Yeah, I’d Keep him on the roster for only 5 million extra as a precaution to not ruin a rookie QB by throwing him to the wolves if Kessler gets hurt... I feel like we’ve already witnessed that episode, multiple times. Let’s be patient and ensure proper development of the rookie for at least a year.
