They came to the Gator Bowl in 1975.   I was there, too.   I was way back in the South end zone.   Sat through hours and hours of opening acts.   I think one was J Geils Band, another was Shaka Khan.   Got wasted on various substances, got rained on, it was a long day, but they finally came on, so I can say I saw the Rolling Stones once in my life.  I was a huge fan of theirs back then.  I saw Gimme Shelter in the San Marco Theater when it came out.   Great movie.   Hiring the Hell's Angels to do security.  Who had that brilliant idea?

Yeah, but as NYC pointed out, I mis-remembered my Rolling Stones experience. I saw them in 1991 in the renovated (pre-Jaguars version) Gator Bowl, Living Colour was the opening act. The Stones were very good, but...I guess polished is the best way to describe them. Not a bad thing, but I envy your experience, that was the Stones' heydey. 

Knowing my love of a wide variety of intoxicants in those days, I doubt I would remember much, had I been  there. I apparently have a hard enough time remembering the concert I DID attend.
