While I 100% believe the offensive injuries took a huge toll on Blake's performance, he has shown that he needs essentially a perfect storm to sustain success. We were rolling the first few weeks when we had a top pass blocking OL. They got hurt, and we fell off a cliff.

I don't think Blake is as bad as he played the last few weeks. But he's not going to be "the guy" I'd have no problem keeping him around as the backup on a restructured deal, but I don't see that happening.

They will address QB this offseason. They simply have to after benching him. Whether that's draft, FA, or trade is the question. I think we either see Blake and a rookie or a Vet and Blake is cut with the June 1st deal. But TC won't let them go into next season without addressing it after seeing this year fall apart.
