We don't need to rebuild. That's something you do when your roster is full of players who are painfully overpaid, bereft of talent, well past their prime or some combination of the three. We've definitely got players in each of those categories, but not to the point of the team as a whole being crippled. What the Jaguars need to do is retool, and that's going to involve parting ways with some players and (hopefully) a lot of coaches. This team can lose Malik Jackson, Tashaun Gipson and Barry Church and still have a defense that's loaded with talent. Offensively, we're so badly screwed right now that it's tough to say how screwed we are in general. We need a QB, we need a playmaking receiver, we need a guard and a tackle for sure. Beyond that, we might need a running back and a tight end, or we might actually be ok at those positions once ASJ's healthy and Fournette's got his head screwed on straight.

This is not the sort of team that you burn to the ground. This is the sort of team that you build around. Maintain the defense and don't let the talent slip away there, and throw cash and draft picks at the offense to fix that side of the ball. Oh, and get a coach who knows how to coach.
