My impressions came AFTER seeing the show, obviously. I went to see them because they were one of my favorite bands in the 60s and early 70s. But the show paled in comparison to the records. The sound was lousy and Jagger just flapped around like a lunatic and omitted half the lyrics.
I did see McCartney at the Citrus Bowl in 1993 and in Jax in 2014. Both great shows. I think the best arena shows I've seen are The Who 1976 Gator Bowl, Jethro Tull, 1976 Tampa and surprisingly, The Jacksons, 1984, Gator Bowl. |
