We have a Super Bowl defense with a high school offense . Dave will get a chance to get a good TE, a solid QB and another WR. And he will have a chance to bring in some free agents and get all of our injured players back.

I’m not wanting to blow it up during our window. We have a good RB with a nasty defense.

We should be right back in the playoffs next season.

Reality is that we've got the worst salary cap situation in the NFL.  We don't have the $$ to get a QB in free agency or via trade.  We're going to have to cut several high-priced veterans and our draft picks from the last few drafts are nothing great.  Where is the salary cap room to add a QB, TE, and WR?  It doesn't exist.  

Fournette hasn't shown anything.  He was injury prone in college and he's been injured most of this year.  The defense went way downhill in the pass rush department.  

We blew a lot of salary cap room on Moncrief and Norwell and it didn't pay off. 

Caldwell has not been a good GM.  He's missed on all of his first round picks outside of Ramsey.  Sure, he's hit on a few solid players like Yannick and Myles Jack, but extending Lee over Robinson?  Breaking the bank for Norwell?  Especially when you know you need the cap space to sign Yannick, Jalen, and Myles?  

Of course, a good QB in the draft could fix a lot of things, but you can't expect a turnaround to be led by a rookie so you're looking at 2020 at best and by then a lot of the current defensive players will be gone.
