Why does 'ol Tom get a pass? I think the old 1996 image of Coughlin has been non-viable for many, many years. Why do you think he's all that different than Marrone?

Players get injured and all of a sudden everyone's perception of people changes. Weird.

Look, I don't think Tom is a genius by any stretch of the word, but the fact is, the guy knows football more than anyone else in our front office. You'd think we'd learn the first time we chased him out of town, the guy deserves a decade to prove his worth before retiring.
