I think he probably had one person close to TC tell him that they think TC might want to coach again and he just ran with it knowing it would get buzz - and not long ago it would be considered much worse than it is nowadays.

I'm glad he was called out - even if they didn't do the most graceful job of it.

They actually handled it well until the end. They let him talk about what he reported. Then they asked where he was hearing it from as it wasn't coming from within the building with TC stopping leaks. The local guys saying they haven't heard anything.

They needed to just flat out ask where he got this info since no one in Jacksonville has gotten the same info. Say it seems like you are just throwing something out there as rumors and then reporting it as a fact.


I'm fine with rumors, but just state it as a rumor and not a reportable fact that you have confirmed. Twitter has blurred those lines, but if you keep reporting rumors as facts, you will miss too many times and people will stop listening.
