Salary Cap increase

The Jags have done a good job of managing the cap, even now as they're right up on it for 2019.  Most of the big money deals are structured in such a way that the team will be fine.  I don't recall seeing you whining about the salary cap, and demanding anyone be fired for mismanagement last year when the team was making a run to the AFC championship.  Other than the Bortles deal, nothing has changed, and even that is a contract that will be addressed this off season.

Whatever we all knew some tough decisions were coming up.  Coughlin ran the cap up before it's not like there isn't history there.  We will see about fine.  Nobody was whining last year was just trying to enjoy a winning season.  It's not like those grow on trees around here either.

I guess they are all perfect tho.  There has been plenty of mismanagement imo.  Yea my opinion.

We are thirty two on the cap and suck so there is that also.

Coughlin doesn't set the contract value, or negotiate the deals.  We've got someone on the staff whose sole purpose is to manage the salary cap.  That has been the case since Coughlin put the team in salary cap hell trying to get to the Super Bowl in the late 90's.  The salary cap has been well managed ever since then. Just look at the way they structure deals now so that they have flexibility. The team spent money because they had one of the best cap situations in the league, and the majority of the free agents they brought in over the past couple of years have had a positive impact. But, those bloated contracts are almost expected to be cut at some point when production doesn't match compensation, and the deals have almost all been structured in a way to benefit the team. That's how you manage the cap if you intend to spend money but not put yourself into a purge situation like we had with Coughlin the first time around.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
