Exactly. He has no running lanes, Guards pulling or Linemen getting to the 2nd level.

They can barely maintain a block let alone dictate play!

This is the best defensive roster this team has had in years but the situation is woeful on offense. Aside from the obvious situation at QB, there is no real #1 even if Lee hadn't torn his ACL, four out of five starters on the O-line are injured and the starting TE as well. Players, no plays still holds true and not many coaches can make a team work when there are that many injuries and no real QB to speak of.

In the end, I believe this team's performance in 2017 should give Marrone at least one more season. Find a good QB in the draft, sign a bit more OL depth, and lock up at least one young defensive player. Couple that with players returning from injury and there should be no excuse to not perform well in 2019.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Marrone back, but the pressure will be crazy. I also wouldn't be surprised if they felt this team massively under achieved and with all the off field issues they go another direction. I only see the point in moving on from Marrone if we see someone we think is a clear upgrade or a system they will install. No point in promoting within or the same type of coach. 

QB will be the biggest task this off season and what direction they decide to go will be seen. The FO have got to have a near perfect off season with their decisions, O needs a lot of depth and we don't have a lot of room to manouvere cap wise in FA so we need to hit on draft picks and young guys start progressing to that high standard.
