At best, Kessler was auditioning for the backup role here next year. Other than throwing a spiral, there was nothing more we should have been expecting here.

My sense is that you're giong to have an entirely new QB room next year, and Kessler MIGHT make it to training camp, but he won't be on the opening day roster. The team is going to sign a vet and draft for the future.
