Hes a power back that excels with gap blocking, with gap blockimg you follow your kead and hit the hole your blocks create. Since our oline has been banged up weve been playing more zone blocking on the run game. With zone you need to press the line and feel the lane for the 1 cut, with gap you get north south and bulldoze.

Ita nit neccessarily a lack of vision bc when the oline is healthy and they call gap/power-o type plays he sees the crease and hits it. I think its a comfort level in the type of play calls in the running game as he didnt do much zone running at LSU
