Wolfie, that's going to be true for pretty much any team when you see all 5 of your starters miss playing time or wind up on the IR.  The Jags could absorb one or two guys going down, but we're on our 4th LT, our 3rd LG, our second Center, our RG has missed playing time, and we're down to #2 at RT.  No team is going ot absorb that effectively and continue to produce at a high level.

I'm not a big fan of the "injury excuse", but when you look at it the way you presented it... yes injuries are a big reason for the inept play of the offense this season.  That could be one of the factors that leads to Marrone not going anywhere.

Injuries aren't the only problem, but one of the things that I really admire about Coach Marrone is the way that he refuses to point fingers and accepts responsibility for the team's record.  He also seems to be willing to accept any consequences that go along with that.
