Granted, they were on the practice squad for a reason and most likely will never be starters, but their possible availability between now and next season is irrelevant.  We had the opportunity to see them perform in the regular season (with nothing to lose) and we failed to take advantage of it. "horrible decision" may be an overstatement, but I certainly wouldn't call it very smart management.  You don't win a championship by leaving stones unturned.

These guys were practicing with the team.  The staff had plenty of opportunity to evaluate them to determine if they were worth bumping up to the 53.  We've been moving guys up from the PS as the season has progressed, yet these guys lingered.  It's not like these guys have been sitting on the couch since the season started.  If they flashed in practice, they would have gotten an opportunity to show what they can do in game situations.  I don't think we've really lost anything here.
