I shrugged it off earlier this year. But the more and more I think about it. Whoever posted that may have been spot on actually from everything that we've now seen (and, not seen) out of him this year. Disappointing player thus far.

I'd be hesitant to psychoanalyze a pro athlete based on them having flashy spending habits. I mean Fournette was voted team Captain for a reason and it wasn't just because he's funny and a high draft pick. Also, Yannick is probably on the manic end of things work ethic wise , i wouldn't expect players to work as hard as him

I agree. That's why I shrugged it off initially. But when the man can't seem to stay healthy (which was a concern going back to his days as an LSU Tiger) and then you couple in him simply not being able to show up for a team photo last year? With nagging injuries? And then all year this year with another injury? And he gets suspended for throwing punches on the field? He's just an idiot.

Injuries happen. Can't control that. And I can't hold that against him. But his maturity is an issue. A glaring issue.

He was probably voted team Captain because this offense sucks. There's really no other names on that offense you would want to call a Captain. If Leonard Fournette is one of your Captains, or the only major name on offense given that title. What does that say about your offense in general?

It may not be about his flashy spending habits. But his actions scream "Me, me, me and I, I, I". He doesn't deserve to have the C on his jersey.
