They showed Ngakoue busting his [BLEEP] in the gym. And they showed Fournette out flashing some nice hardware he just bought. Questioning his work ethic, etc.

I shrugged it off earlier this year. But the more and more I think about it. Whoever posted that may have been spot on actually from everything that we've now seen (and, not seen) out of him this year. Disappointing player thus far.

I'd be hesitant to psychoanalyze a pro athlete based on them having flashy spending habits. I mean Fournette was voted team Captain for a reason and it wasn't just because he's funny and a high draft pick. Also, Yannick is probably on the manic end of things work ethic wise , i wouldn't expect players to work as hard as him

I agree with both actually. It's just difficult for people out of the building to know exactly how he's approaching life as a pro. What gets through doesn't sound ideal honestly.

I also read that on a Monday show Boselli/Prisco mentioned speculations that during his hamstring injury Fournette missed some scheduled rehab appointments. Which lead to the increase in frustration and the Hyde trade. I have no idea if there's any truth behind that but it doesn't sound extremely unlikely.
I didn't like the pick at the time (I'm of the no RB high in the draft party) but still he's better than this. It's just that as much as he was never too agile to begin with I feel we haven't seen him move as he did the first 6 games of the 2017 season again. (talking just about the way he moves/runs, not other issues as oline play/his vision)
