I also read that on a Monday show Boselli/Prisco mentioned speculations that during his hamstring injury Fournette missed some scheduled rehab appointments. Which lead to the increase in frustration and the Hyde trade. I have no idea if there's any truth behind that but it doesn't sound extremely unlikely.
I didn't like the pick at the time (I'm of the no RB high in the draft party) but still he's better than this.It's just that as much as he was never too agile to begin with I feel we haven't seen him move as he did the first 6 games of the 2017 season again. (talking just about the way he moves/runs, not other issues as oline play/his vision)

I also heard that Searcy and Lageman's wife were questioning Fournette's willingness to return more quickly from that hamstring injury as well. So there's probably some degree of truth in there. I think even Marrone was quoted at some point saying that these types of injuries are also up to the player's ability to get back from it, etc. 

Hyde was probably a decent insurance investment going into 2019. Can't blame Coughwell for that approach. Two years in a row that he's missed significant amount of playing time and then back-to-back suspensions for essentially not being a team player. Questionable maturity. Questionable work ethic. 

That's not good for any athlete. Especially if you're expecting them to be professionals. We'll see what happens. 2018 was a dumpster fire of a season. Maybe it was really just the mental aspect of the game. Once you get into a hole mentally it's really hard to climb up out of it. And you start getting into that "We're almost there. It's almost over" mentality and once that happens it's party over.
