He's looked good in flashes but mostly awful, the same as he did his college career and the same as Bortles did as a rookie. It's very interesting that Bills fans are full of praise for a limited passing QB that can run the ball really considering they all trash Tyrod when he was there. Very interesting indeed.

And yeah I'm not saying Lamar is a good passer right now (all rookie QBs should be expected to be below average) ,just he's been playing better than every rookie not named Mayfield. Rosen and Allen have looked lost. Darnold has put some real nice games/drives together but he's still a turnover machine and that doesn't seem to be going away.

You calling Allen a limited passing QB?  The guy has one of the strongest arms this league has seen him some time.  Of course he is a rookie but the guy has the arm talent to make any throw.  The Buffalo fans knew what Taylor was and they were right.  There is a reason he was benched early in the season, the Browns didnt plan on starting Baker early but when Tylor sucked it up again, they didnt have much of a choice.  Then Baker led them to their first win in some time.  Was crazy the difference it made when Taylor got benched.

Probably the best throw Taylor has made

To think we could of gotten Andrew's over Chark.  A guy a lot of us liked.  Diabities was the only issue with him, but a big one

Limited is not referring to his arm strength, rather his inability to throw accurately and with anticipation. You have to throw out a whole heap of the playbook because of that, in the same way you would if someone had a noodle arm.

The Browns offense was a disaster with Haley and Jackson there. Baker is better than Taylor for sure but I don't think Tyrod being bad there is a true show of who he is.

It's just an interesting dichotomy that they hated Tyrod because he ran so much but now they love Allen for doing the same but being a much worse passer.

Yeah Andrews would have been perfect here. Thank god we missed out on Hurst though
