Only the best of the best look good surrounded by mediocrity. Even a generally perceived as top qb like Rivers has looked terrible at times in seasons past.

You can roll out cousins, Smith, Tyrod, mccown, keenum we would look terrible with all of them. What we need is a brees or a Brady

Mahomes is playing great but a journeyman like Alex Smith had a career year with the same cast.

Does it matter that the Jags don’t have Julio and OBJ? He would just throw the ball off target to them just like he did to a wide open Westbrook.

Blake is not good at the most important QB trait: throwing the ball accurately. 

And Mahomes isn’t just playing great. He’s playing out of this world. Have you watched him play? Or have you thought that Mahomes makes the guys around him better? Damien Williams, Robinson and Chris Conley are average but under Mahomes, they’re good football players.
