Marrone/Caldwell retained (merged)

Terrible. Caldwell manned the draft from 2013-2016. In that time he picked the following notable players...just keep in mind I'm saying notable, as some might just be flash in the pan type players: Allen Robinson, Brandon Linder, Aaron Colvin, Telvin Smith, Jalen Ramsey, Myles Jack, Yannick Ngakoue. That's it. A-Rob didn't do much in Chicago and had one good year, Linder is solid and was a great pick, Colvin had great year as a nickel guy and is an ok outside corner, Telvin is solid but had a down year, Jalen is the man, Myles Jack is ok (maybe most overhyped person on the team), and Yannick is damn good but had a down year. That's seven guys in 4 years, two of which aren't on the team anymore and others that are just ok. That's terrible. Period. Also, there's of course the busts with Bortles and Fowler.
Let's look at Coughlin's 2012-2015 drafts with the Giants...Justin Pugh, Odell Beckham, Landon Collins, and that's it. I'm serious. Then these guys get together and have a lucky 2017 season because they played a laughable schedule, had an amazing defense, and actually hit some home runs on free agency. But Super Bowl winning teams hit home runs in the draft and free agency seals the deal. Caldwell and Coughlin can't evaluate talent effectively. Coughlin wants to run the ball and play this old school football. Well guess what, it's a new game. You're a dinosaur Coughln and you didn't evolve. That isn't how to win in this league anymore. Did we win any games because of Bortles in 2017? No. Don't tell me we won against Pittsburgh in the playoffs because of him. He didn't play poorly, he played fine, but Hackett called a great game and Bortles hit 8 yard passes to wide open guys when he needed to. Oh, and the Fournette pick looks worse with each game. Guy was always hurt in college and got shut down by good defenses. Running backs taken after Fourtnette? McCaffery, Davlin Cook (round 2), Joe Mixon (Round 2), Alvin Kamara (Round 3), Kareem Hunt (Round 3), James Connor (Round 3), Marlon Mack (Round 4). Fournette 2017 stats: 3.9 Yards Per Carry. Terrible! Take away his 90 yard run against Pittsburgh and you're looking at 3.58! Fournette 2018 statas: 3.3 Yards Per Carry. He's awful. Sorry to rant, but I haven't posted all year and had to let it out. Fire Caldwell, fire Coughlin, and fire Marrone for going with Coughlin's archaic ways. These guys believed in Bortles after 2017, and everybody knew it was a mistake.
BORTLES ISN'T A FRANCHISE QB. FOURNETTE WILL BE A BUST.
