Fournette and his buddy, Ramsey, are Poster Boys for Marrone’s diagnoses of what went wrong.  Ramsey not showing until mandatory and Marrone just low balling it saying , “Jalen has been in contact and he assured me he is getting his work in and will arrive ready,” had me thinking, “Uh oh! Where is the team spirit in that?  Are his teammates going to be cool with that?” So I am glad Marrone brought up the importance of being, “in the building” for ALL team practice and training whether voluntary or mandatory.

Freddy T used to do the same dang thing. No biggie about the voluntary stuff if they have a different coach they enjoy working with, and are putting in the effort. Jalen's problem has never been his ability, or even his concept of team. If that were the case, he'd have phoned in the back half of this season or found some way to get put on IR to avoid any long-term injury.
