I think you're confusing presence with prevalence.
this kind of hateful garbage has been present, probably from the very beginning.
But it has become much more prevalent in the last 10 years.

I don't have any confusion, my comment was to Bender about the use of "dirty language"; it really had nothing to do with politics until RJ leaped in to make it about insulting Trump.
