Maybe the Saints could beat New England in this Super Bowl.

The NFL is never going to allow the game to be replayed, or simply declare the Saints the winner. That's why I suggest the Saints get an extra first round pick in the draft. Maybe pick #33.

What do you think/

Not a chance.

You even stated in your post that they are not the first team to be screwed by a bad call. Back in the days before replay, bad calls happened, and you had no recourse. The league will do something to address this in the offseason, either allowing NY to buzz in when a blatant call is missed, as they do now when replay is needed, or allow coaches to challenge a no-call.

The Refs should be held accountable. The guys that blow these big calls in big games don't get the opportunity to work the big games in the future. I don't know what the refs made to officiate Sunday's game, but I guarantee it's enough that none of those guys would be happy to flush it away.

What did we get for the errant call last year?  Not a sausage. Not even a rule change.

What about the blow to the head called in the Chiefs game FROM BEHIND THE QB? That was a terrible call, too, and likely impacted the outcome as well. If you begin compensating teams for missed or bad calls, EVERYONE will begin clamoring for extra picks or whatever remedy is chosen to offset the error. It would be the equivalent of owners doing that stupid 'throw the flag' motion every receiver does when they fail to make a catch.

We picked 29 last year, we're picking 7 this year. @What more do you want?@

Roger's got our back.

i disagree about the refs in your post. think about it, some of the biggest fastest men on the planet running at full speed being watched by what 4, 5 men across a field 120 yard long and 53 yards wide with the players spread all over the place? they also have to watch the sides lines, the feet, the hands and so on..nope. they do a great job for what they are up against but they cant possibly watch everything. so even though i feel shafted when the jags dont get a call or a no call i cant entirely blame the officiating 100%.

in the early years when i watched football before instant reply and hd tv with 20 cameras able to get up close slow motion replay, it was better even though some stuff wasnt right like a dropped pass that wasnt called. we the viewers couldnt see it so it didnt effect our entertainment of the game. now a lot of plays are picked apart with slow motion to the point that we are looking for a blade of grass between a show and a white line. the games being analyzed so up close and with slow motion is gonna be worse to the point that every call will be reviewed, analyzed and take time to break up the flow of the game. and then the networks are goning to turn the mistakes into news pieces like the PI no call did on nfl network after the game and every 20 minutes after.
