Oh please. The election of Maduro is viewed as fradulent by Western press but large swathes of Venezuela have disagreed with that and supported him despite the economic war designed to cripple the country and remove him from power

The United States is not "interfering in another country's political process", it is simply recognizing the rightful Head of State of said country.

The rightful head of state was democratically elected. Other countries failing to recognise that does NOT mean they get to decide if the election is legit or not.

Other countries supporting an illegitimate candidate usurping a legitimately elected candidate is the definition of a coup.
