I'm sure he'd be a great RG too, but from everything I'm reading, he has the agility to play RT as well. Perhaps he could start out at RG and then scoot outside whenever Parnell is finally ready to call it quits.

As for Will Richardson, I see him more as a backup needing several years to develop before he's ready to start. 

I would be all for this idea. As far as Richardson, he just seems like a waste of a roster spot then. I've always been of the mind to have a very good swing Tackle, waiting in the wings rather than having a backup LT and a backup RT. Personally, I'd have a solid swing tackle as the top backup in case one of my starting OT's get hurt and both of my OG's would also have experience at the OT positions as well, to give us flexibility. 

I have a feeling if we draft Ford and insert him at RG immediately, we'll never move him, because he will be so good. He has the perfect skill set and body type of what I like in an OG. Balance and power are his thing and he is an absolute road grader when it comes to opening running lanes. The more I think about drafting him at #7 the more i like it, (but only if Haskins is gone.)
