That's ludicrous. You take the state of the Jaguars bs way too seriously. The nfl is a shared revenue league(cba), the ticket sales from 1 game isn't nearly as significant as it's made out to be in the grand scheme of things. Most of the money teams make is off of the TV deals anyway, anything else is just icing on the massive nfl cake. Even crap like merch sales is divided up amongst all 32 teams, get over the idea that Jacksonville needs London, because it absolutely doesn't.

It used to be that way. Then Jerry Jones and Daniel Snyder came along and began to market their teams independently. So while the NFL still shares revenue, corporate sponsorships by individual teams has allowed some teams to take in a significantly greater amount of revenue than teams from cities with smaller corporate footprints.

It's also why I believe that many of the smaller market teams will eventually follow Shad's lead and semi-permanently outsource a home game in order to survive in their current towns. Doesn't mean Shad will move the team, if anything his foresight helps insure the Jags will stay where they are.
