Defense wins championships sometimes. It certainly hasn't won most of the Patriots Super Bowl wins. Defense failed them last year. And no way do the Pats win the SB vs the Falcons without Tom Brady.

Fact is usually the best team in the NFL has a pretty good defense to go with a very good offense. Neither team would be in the SB without their offense.
