Capers' defense was suffocating in 1999 until the Saints game exposed a weakness against 3 WR sets. The Jags defense dropped off after that game through the following season until injuries to the LBs in 2000 forced Capers to use safety Mike Logan as a LB. Somehow that fixed the problem.

I don't know what that says about Capers, maybe that he's too set in his ways?
