The “Green New Deal” is the leftist environmental panacea we’ve all been waiting for. It will ban fossil and nuclear fuels, eliminate the internal combustion engine, put an end to air travel, replace every house and building with energy efficient structures, and give every single person in America a paycheck – even if they’re unwilling to work. Along the way, it would even solve the age-old problem of cow flatulence.

Lol.  Democrats write resolutions but don't want to vote on them.  It's a great example of "politics as usual" while wasting everybody's time.  If global warming climate change is such a big deal and is "our WWII" and is so serious that "the world will end in 12 years" then they should be on board with doing something about it.  Especially since so many of their presidential candidates are on-board with it.
